Philadelphia, PA -- (Sports Network) - Bilal Benn posted a double-double consisting of 18 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to lead the Niagara Purple Eagles to a 103-63 victory over the Hartford Hawks as part of the Philly Classic at The Palestra. Bilal, who converted 4-of-5 from three-point range for Niagara (5-1), also registered five steals and three assists in the lopsided victory. Rob Garrison accounted for a team-best 19 points and handed out seven assists, followed by Tyrone Lewis and Demetrius Williamson with 14 points each. Morgan Sabia led the way for the Hawks (2-5) with 14 points and Joe Zeglinski with 13 points and six rebounds. Niagara knocked down an even 50 percent from the field and 9-of-18 beyond the arc in the first half to claim a 52-26 lead at the break. In the second half the Purple Eagles continued to shoot well from behind the three-point line at 47.1 percent, allowing them to cruise to the 40-point triumph. Of the team's 32 made field goals, Niagara registered assists on all but four and turned the ball over just seven times.
