GAME NOTES: Ivy League action takes place in Hanover tonight, as the Dartmouth Big Green host the Yale Bulldogs. The Bulldogs snapped a four-game skid the last time they were on the floor, defeating Princeton in a 67-59 final. With the win, the Bulldogs are now 5-7 in Ivy League play. Yale has struggled on the road this year, winning just 3-of-13 bouts. As for the Big Green, they have not enjoyed much success this season, posting a meager 3-9 mark in league action. However, one of those wins took place last Saturday as the team defeated Columbia, 63-48. Of the 10 wins Dartmouth has logged this season, six have occurred at The Leede Arena. Earlier this season, the Bulldogs pushed their all-time series lead against Dartmouth to 98-93 with a convincing 97-58 win.

The Bulldogs overcame 20 turnovers to collect an eight-point victory over Princeton last weekend. Yale shot a strong 51.1 percent from the field and connected on 17-of-20 attempts from the foul line in the triumph. It was a mediocre performance for a team that is currently averaging 68.7 ppg, while shooting 45.4 percent from the floor. Travis Pinick led the way with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Nick Holmes, Eric Flato and Caleb Holmes each contributed 11 points. Flato has been the top option for the team throughout the season, netting 12.1 ppg. As for Holmes, he chips in with 10.2 ppg and is the team's top three-point shooter, connecting on 39.4 percent from downtown.

The Big Green have been atrocious all year and head into this contest netting just 63.5 ppg, while shooting just 42.5 percent from the field. Alex Barnett has been the only true scoring threat for Dartmouth, as the forward is leading the team with 15.8 ppg and 7.1 rpg. DeVon Mosley is second on the team in scoring, but the guard is chipping in just 11.8 ppg, while shooting only 38.8 percent from the floor. The last time the Big Green took the court, the team only scored 63 points, but it was enough to slip past Columbia in a 15-point decision. Dartmouth shot 48.9 percent from the field in the contest and was led by Barnett, who tallied 19 points and seven rebounds. Elgin Fitzgerald chipped in 10 points, while Mosley struggled by going just 1-of-7 from the floor to finish with just four points.

The Bulldogs dominated the Big Green earlier this season, and although this contest will be played in Hanover, Yale should be able to duplicate that effort.

Predicted Outcome

Yale 73, Dartmouth 61
