Meteorologists In The Community

UPDATED: 4:20 pm EDT September 2, 2008

When I ask Bruce DePrest how he's doing, he'll likely respond, "Fair to Partly Cloudy." Bruce is full of those great smile-invoking jokes in addition to all the experience he has as Channel 3's Chief Meteorologist.

If you could pick Bruce's brain, I hope you have a lot of time, because he sure knows his stuff. And, so do his partners at the Channel 3 Early Warning Weather Team. Sharing their knowledge with students is an event they truly enjoy.

Bruce, Mark Dixon and Scot Haney appear on air, online and in your communities. Mark also delves into the wonders of weather on his Science Sunday blog, in conjunction with the Connecticut Science Center. We'll compile a slideshow of pictures from their events here, and you can send your weather pictures to us by e-mail: weather3@wfsb.com

Thanks for watching!
