2008 Ongoing'Twelfth Night' ARTFARM, a non-profit theatre organization with a dedication to environmental sustainability, will present "Twelfth Night," a free outdoor Shakespeare production. It will be held at 7 p.m., July 17 to 20, July 24 to 27, in the grove at Middlesex Community College, Middletown. Free. Prior to each performance, a music headliner band will perform at 6 p.m. and before Sunday performances there will be an EcoFestival featuring vendors and farmers.Hartford's Got Talent Hartford's Got Talent, now accepting talent submissions. Do you have a talent that unique, a bit crazy or maybe always dreamt of playing at Carnegie Hall? Only 20 applicants will be selected to post their audition video on the Hartford's Got Talent webpage for on-line voting. The top 10 finalists will compete in front of a live audience at the Pond House Cafe in West hartford at 5:30 p.m., September 4, 2008. Prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants. This is a fundraiser for the CT AIDS Resource Coalition and selected applicants' auditions will be posted on the CARC website and compete for on-line votes at $5 per vote. The 10 contestants with the most votes will be selected to compete at the September 4 event. Rain date is July 2.Photography Exhibit "Express, Create, Play, Live: Images of North Hartford," a photography exhibit by Marc-Yves Regis, an award-winning photographer with The Hartford Courant, will be on display at the Hartford Public Library, 500 Main Street, Hartford, from July 1 through September 30, 2008. Regis photographed the people and activities of Hartford's north end to capture the essence of residents' daily lives. He focused on ordinary people and the diverse cultures and colors that make up the city. Information, www.hplct.org.Summer Suppers Culinary creations will be created in the kitchen at the Niantic Community Church, 170 Pennsylvania Avenue, Niantic, this summer as they have been every year since 1966. The savory tradition of summer suppers gets underway with the first one of four scheduled for 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., July 1. Others are planned for July 15, 29 and August 12. Attacting people from all over the area, hungry folks line up as much as 45 minutes prior to the seating to get the tickets which go on sale at 5 p.m. In excess of 300 people are served each night. A small army of volunteers prepare the "all-you-can-eat" meal served family-style. The menu includes roast beef or turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, cole slaw, bread, beverages and a selection of pies. The cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Meals can be taken to go or guests can dine indoors or at outside tables. The suppers are a major fundraiser for the church. Information, 203-389-9547.4Boom Box Parade The 23rd annual Boom Box Parade begins at 11 a.m., July 4, 2008, from Jillson Square in downtown Willimantic. It is the largest parade of its kind in the world. In 1986 when no marching band could be found for the parade, a Boom Box Parade was formed with music coming from WILI. Anyone can march or enter a float with the only requirement is to wear some red, white and blue and bring a radio tuned to WILI-1400-AM. Formation is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and no registration is necessary. The Half Moon, a full-scale, operating replica of the Dutch ship of exploration that Henry Hudson sailed in 1609, is a traveling museum that conducts programs about the history of the Dutch colony called New Netherland.
