How do I get a high definition signal?

    Interactive Guide: What Is HDTV?

At its most basic, you'll need an antenna and an off-air (8VSB) receiver, along with an HDTV compatible television. Many HDTV receivers are available, including standalone units, models combined with DSS receivers or even digital video recorders. Many High Definition televisions even come with compatible HDTV receivers built-in. The antenna you'll need depends on your specific location and could range from a small unit that sits on top of your television to a larger antenna mounted on a roof.

What programs are broadcast in high definition?

You can watch many of your favorite CBS shows and sporting events (including NFL football and UConn basketball) with crystal-clear digital pictures and better sound than that provided via analog signals.

Here's the current schedule of CBS primetime shows available in high definition:

CBS Sports programming in HD includes The Masters, select PGA Tour events, NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, U.S. Open Tennis semis and finals, NFL regular season and playoff games, the Super Bowl and select NCAA college football games.
