NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- Local filmmakers debuted a new film on Thursday that was entirely shot in Connecticut."A New Wave" was screened to a full crowd at Central Connecticut State University's Welte Auditorium. The movie is described as a story about a bank teller and his friends who conspire to plan a bank robbery -- but second thoughts puts the characters' friendships at odds.Director Jason Carvey, of Manchester, and producer Bruce Seymour, of Plainville, said audiences will be able to see quite a few familiar locations on the screen."You'll recognize Max's Downtown, you'll recognize Union Station, Black Rock Art Center and, of course, CCSU. There are a lot of screens shot right here at Central," Seymour said.Carvey said filming in his own state was a blessing and was made possible with help from the Capitol.
