Funeral services were held Thursday for a mother and her two children who died in a fire at their Bridgeport apartment last week.

Tiana Black and her three children, 5-year-old Nyshon Williams, and 4-year-old twins Tyajsia and Nyajsia Williams were killed in the blaze at the P.T. Barnum complex on Friday.

A mother and her three children were killed in an early-morning fire in Bridgeport Friday.

Workers with the Bridgeport Housing Authority said there were smoke detectors in the building.

Officials said smoke alarms in the building went off and neighbors who heard them banged on the family's door to try to get them to come out.

Officials said there was only one entrance to the apartment.

Firefighters were called to the P.T. Barnum complex at about 1 a.m.
