WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. -- After a year of duty in Iraq, Pfc. Samuel Baines had just one mission: Propose to his girlfriend, Lisa Ghettia."I was completely surprised," Ghettia said. "I didn't know he was going to pull a stunt like this, but I am beyond happy right now."

In the midst of all of the excitement, Gov. Jodi Rell even took the time to congratulate the newly engaged couple.Channel 3 Eyewitness News reporter Jessica Schneider reported 120 soldiers, who have served in Iraq since Sept. 13, 2006, arrived home via Southwest Airlines."I'm just so proud of all of them. He didn't have to do this, but he chose to do it," said Karen Fusek, a soldier's aunt. "Words can't explain how proud I am and just how happy I am."The company will debrief at Camp Rell over the weekend, after which time, their next report date will not come until January.
