The Ansonia Chargers christened the new field right away. Kennedy kicked off and Tristan Roberts received the ball, cutting to the outside. A couple defenders miss their tackles as Roberts went on for an opening kickoff return for 6 points.

Later on, it's Thomas the Tank Engine: Alex Thomas barreled in over defenders on his way for a touchdown. Thomas would add another score later in the game.

The chargers started the 2007 season in impressive fashion as they shutout Kennedy, 44-0.
