MADISON, Conn. -- Daniel Hand defended its undefeated record against Amity on Friday night.Amity, beaten once, traveled to Madison, where a windy night blew the state championship flags at the Surf Club something fierce.Hand was already up in the second half when Mike Langrieger found Joe Robichaud for a connection that scored the Tigers a touchdown.Amity had some life later with a great pass and even better catch. Quarterback Bill Choinere went deep to find Chris Peterson -- who made the catch while on his back.Amity got closer but couldn't take the lead: Daniel Hand won 26-14 and will play at Shelton next week.
