Simsbury totally squashed Manchester in the rain on Friday night with some big touchdown runs.

Simsbury senior Jake St. Julien busted one up the middle for a 37-yard touchdown in this game, putting Simsbury up 7-6 early in the second quarter.

With the ball again, Simsbury junior Lawton Arnold exploded up the middle for a 65-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter.

Manchester would later take over with a nice drive as quarterback Johvanny Burgos found Michael Broome to put the Indians on the move.

The drive ended, however, in the end zone, when Ryan Skawara picked off the pass for Simsbury.

In the final minute of the half, Simsbury's Nate Smith buried a 35-yard field goal, putting the Trojans up 17-6.

Simsbury would never look back, going on to win the game, 31-6.
