A plan to give workers in Connecticut paid sick days could become a reality. The bill was approved and voted out of committee and could soon head for a vote in the Senate. Supporters of the bill say restaurant workers, who are forced to come to work when they are ill, could spread germs. Opponents of the bill say paid sick time would cost too much money for employers.
