DANIELSON, Conn. -- After viewing a couple’s story on difficulties at a local bridal shop, Eyewitness News heard from several others with similar complaints, including one woman who said she paid for her dress months ago, but hasn’t received it.Stacey Solomon said she paid $1,000 for a wedding dress she ordered in March from Classic Images and was promised a summer delivery. But she said she and her bridesmaids are still waiting for their dresses to come in.“I feel I was treated unfairly,” said Solomon. “(The owner) has my $1,000, and I have nothing to show for it.”Connecticut State Police said they’re investigating several complaints at the bridal shop in Danielson with Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.Customers said that when they go to the store, it’s locked.“All I want to do is get rid of this tuxedo to avoid the late fee," said Gary Jalin, of Sterling.Several others said they, too, already paid for orders they've never seen.Cathy Strandson, who’s daughter is getting married, said she has a lot of unanswered questions.“We put $400 down on a wedding gown and two girls paid for their bridal dresses and we don't know what the status is,” she said.Gary St. John, whose wife owns the shop said Tuesday that tough times have caused the business to close, but outstanding orders are on their way.“I don't believe it,” said Solomon. “I don't believe he'll fulfill the contracts.”Two new notices were posted on the door Wednesday, and when Eyewitness News tried to call the owner, the store number and home number were disconnected.Police said those with complaints concerning Classic Images should call Attorney General Richard Blumenthal at 860-808-5420.
