Trampoline made by Skywalker Holdings have been recalled due to a falling hazard, the Department of Consumer Protection announced on Tuesday.

The straps supporting the tops of the 13-foot square trampolines' enclosures can break, the DCP said, causing them to drop. They said that could cause the user to fall off of the trampoline.

Although no injuries have been reported, there have been 250 reports of the straps breaking, DCP said, and the potential for injury remains high.

The product was manufactured in China and distributed by Skywalker Holdings LLC, of Brigham City, Utah. The products were sold nationwide in stores and online from January 2007 to February 2009 for $400 to $600. The recalled item has blue spring pads, a black net enclosure and a jumping mat. Skywalker Holdings is printed on a label under the jumping mat and on the enclosure net.

Consumers who own the item are urged to contact Skywalker Holdings to obtain a free repair kit. For more information call Skywalker Holdings at 866-603-5867 Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time or visit Skywalker Holdings' Web site.
