Police: Man Kills, Dismembers, Grills Woman

HOUSTON -- A 27-year-old Texas man allegedly told a neighbor he was cooking for a wedding, but according to police he had strangled his college-student girlfriend, cut up her body and burned it on a patio grill.Police in Houston said Timothy Shepherd has confessed, telling them he did it because Tynesha Stewart had begun a new relationship. He has been charged with murder and is being held on $250 million bond.Harris County Sheriff Tommy Thomas said nothing remains of Stewart's body. She was last seen March 15 and was reported missing March 19.Neighbors said they first noticed unusual activity -- and the unpleasant odor -- on Shepherd's balcony on March 16.The Houston Chronicle reported that Shepherd told an inquisitive neighbor that he was cooking for a wedding.
