MILK RECALL

Glastonbury Public Schools E-Mail About Milk

POSTED: 9:28 am EDT March 29, 2007

Glastonbury Public Schools sent an e-mail to parents on Thursday morning that reads:

    Dear Parents,

You likely have seen the story of the contaminated milk in Old Saybrook. The milk came from a processing plant for Guida Dairy. Because our provider of milk is not Guida, the Public Health Agency has given us assurances that we should continue serving our milk to students in our schools.

    Sincerely,

    Alan B. Bookman
    Superintendent of Schools
