More arrests are expected in the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy in which charges have already been filed against a Waterbury businessman and police lieutenant.

A law enforcement source close to the ongoing investigation told Eyewitness News that three more arrest warrants have been prepared following the complaint from the father of a 15-year-old boy.

The man told police Friday that his son had been hanging out at Hamilton and Library Parks. Channel 3 Eyewitness News reporter Leon Collins reported that both parks are known for prostitution.

The father told police that he was concerned that his son often had money and new clothes.

Investigators said that when they interviewed the boy, he told them that he had sold sex on numerous occasions with Carl Gemino, the vice president of Gem Manufacturing.

The 15-year-old also told detectives that Waterbury police Lt. Robert Kennedy brought him to a home on Willow Street more than once, and on at least one occasion, forced him to have sex.

Gemino was released on a $750,000 bond Tuesday and Kennedy was released on a $500,000 bond.
