Police: Woman Spent $1,000 Using Stolen Credit Card

ENFIELD, Conn. -- Police are seeking the public's help to catch a woman who they said has stolen purses in Enfield.Enfield police said a woman targeted a victim at Shaw's supermarket on Monday. After swiping the victim's purse, police said the woman went down the road to a Best Buy store where she spent $1,000 using the victim's credit card.Police said the victim got new locks and credit cards and that the woman may be responsible for other crimes around the area.If you have information regarding this investigation, contact Enfield police by dialing 860-763-6400.
