Doctors Say Education Part Of Recovery

POSTED: 5:55 pm EDT June 11, 2007

Five days after being discovered in a hidden room in a West Hartford home, a teenage girl who was missing for a year is returning to her studies.

The family of 15-year-old Danielle Cramer said that medical experts recommended it to restore a sense of normalcy in her life.

Danielle was found last week locked in a hidden space under a set of stairs in a West Hartford house.

Doctors are now saying that picking up where Danielle left off in her education is one part of her recovery.

Danielle's parents would not specify where the girl is being educated.

Police made three arrests in connection with Danielle's disappearance, including 41-year-old Adam Gault, who police as well as the FBI are currently investigating.

Police said they are working to determine whether Gault had inappropriate relationships with underage girls.
