A mother is accused of driving under the influence while picking up her son.

Susan Ernest, 46, of New Britain, was arrested Friday after police said she was driving under the influence after picking up her 7-year-old son from a Farmington day camp.

Farmington Police said they received calls from other parents at the camp who expressed concerns that Ernest was intoxicated.

Police said Ernest failed a sobriety test and registered with a blood-alcohol level of .349 on a Breathalyzer test. The legal limit is .08

Ernest was charged with risk of injury and operation while under the influence.

Her bond was set at $5,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 7
