WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- A man tried to rob a bank in West Haven on Friday, but didn't get any money, police said.West Haven police said a man left a note at the Wachovia Bank at 597 Campbell Ave. at about 10 a.m. on Friday.Police said the man is white has a medium build, is about 50 to 60 years old and is about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a green, long-sleeve shirt, dark-colored sunglasses and a ball cap.If you have information regarding this investigation, contact West Haven police by dialing 203-937-3900.
