Police: Bank Robber Gets No Money

A man tried to rob a bank in West Haven on Friday, but didn't get any money, police said.

West Haven police said a man left a note at the Wachovia Bank at 597 Campbell Ave. at about 10 a.m. on Friday.

Police said the man is white has a medium build, is about 50 to 60 years old and is about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a green, long-sleeve shirt, dark-colored sunglasses and a ball cap.
