Fired Norwich Officer Arrested Again
Sources: Ex-Officer Accused Of Threatening Chief

NORWICH, Conn. -- Hours after losing his job as a police officer, authorities again arrested Jamie Longolucco on threatening charges.Eyewitness News has learned from several sources that Longolucco is accused of threatening his ex-boss, Norwich Police Chief Louis J. Fusaro. The chief fired the officer on Friday following an internal investigation.Part of the Police Department's investigation included Longolucco's recent criminal assault charge for allegedly punching a woman in New London while off duty.Longolucco is accused of punching the women while off duty in New London last month. The women told police that Longolucco punched them after one of them rejected his advances.
The former officer has told Eyewitness News that the "investigation is shoddy," and that he will fight the charges.Longolucco remains in state police custody on $500,000 bond.
