Police: Deaths May Be Murder, Suicide

BURLINGTON, Conn. -- A relative discovered the bodies of a man and a woman in a possible murder-suicide in Burlington on Wednesday.A man called police Wednesday at about 7 p.m. about the deaths of Alexander Reyor, 78, and Cheryl Reyor, 52, inside a single-family on George Washington Turnpike in Burlington.State police said investigators found no evidence of anyone else other than the man and woman involved in the incident. Authorities said the relative was checking up on the well-being of the deceased.The chief state medical examiner has conducted autopsies on both of the deceased. State police said Thursday afternoon that the elder Reyor was murdered and died from blunt-force trauma. Cheryl Reyor's manner and cause of death have yet to be determined and are pending toxicology results.
Final medical analysis results are expected in several weeks, and state police continue to investigate.
