MONTVILLE, Conn. -- Police are searching for a driver in connection with a Monday night hit-and-run crash in Montville.

State police said Fu Quan Liu, of New York, was walking in a crosswalk on Route 32, when he was struck by a dark-colored sedan.

Police said the sedan ran a red light and struck Liu near Sandy Desert Road.

The driver then fled the scene, according to police.

Liu was transported to Backus Hospital with serious internal injuries.
