A Montville man remained in critical condition on Thursday after a hit-and-run.

Police said the incident was captured by casino's surveillance camera.

Fu Quan Liu, 59, a worker at Mohegan Sun, was struck as he crossed Route 32 on Monday night.

Police said the video shows a dark sedan speeding by Liu and sideswiping him as he crosses in a crosswalk. The sedan ran a red light, according to police.

"That dark-colored sedan traveled through Route 31, struck a pedestrian, and traveled through the scene," said Lt. Paul Vance of the state police.

Liu lives in a home along Route 31.

Police urged anyone who may have been turning from Sandy Desert Road onto Route 32 around 11:40 Monday night to contact police.

Liu remains in critical condition and was recently transferred from Backus Hospital to Yale New Haven Hospital
