NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- A paraprofessional at New Britain High School is facing charges of sexual assault.

Sources told Eyewitness News that 52-year-old Theodore Morris is accused of making an 18-year-old student take obscene photos of herself.

Morris was arrested by New Britain police late last week on charges of sex assault, coercion and obscenity.

Sources told Eyewitness News that Morris made the student take sexual photos and then he distributed them. Sources also told Eyewitness News that Morris made the girl submit to sexual contact under duress.

Connecticut law forbids anyone in a teaching or similar position of authority from having a sexual relationship with a student or someone under their control.
