Police said they are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting in Bristol.

They said officers responded to the Disabled American Veterans Hall at 191 Riverside Ave. at about 12:19 a.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, officers found a 14-year-old girl who had been shot in the left thigh, police said. They said she was at a party in the hall, but was standing outside when she was shot by someone riding in a passing vehicle.

Officers said they couldn’t release the girl's name, but said her injuries did not appear life threatening. They said the shooting may have been sparked by something that happened during the party.

They said they are still searching for the shooter.
