Griffin Hospital, Other Spots Used In Film

HARTFORD -- Hollywood came to Derby Saturday, where parts of Griffin Hospital were turned into a movie set.“The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” stars Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder and Robin Wright Penn.The director is Rebecca Miller, daughter of the late playwright Arthur Miller of Roxbury.Earlier this week, some scenes were filmed around the town of New Milford, and other scenes are scheduled to film in Southbury, Danbury, New Milford and Stamford.The drama is set to hit theatres sometime next year.
