UPDATED: 9:39 am EDT May 12, 2008

Police are investigating the deaths of two people found inside a Canton home.

They said a relative found a married couple unresponsive inside a home along Sterling Drive, in the Collinsville section of town, on Sunday. Officers called to the home confirmed the couple was deceased.

Police said that an early investigation indicated that no foul play was to blame. Investigators are working to determine whether the deaths were a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Eyewitness News reporter Ray Daudani said that police are not releasing the names of the victims until all family has been notified.

Officers had blocked off the road around 1 p.m. while the investigation continued.
