Traffic was snarled Tuesday morning after a truck rolled over on Old Farms Road in Avon.

The crash occurred between Waterville Road and Tillotson Road.

The roadway was closed between the cross streets while crews removed the truck from the roadway.

Members of the Hartford Fire Department told Eyewitness News that the driver of the Hartford-based truck was speeding.

Officials said the truck flew over a stone wall on Old Farms Road around 5:30 a.m.

It took about three hours to upright the truck.

"I've been stopped several times on this road. It seems people go a little too fast on this road -- don't pay enough attention to the stoplight there," said Mary Lundquist, of West Hartford.

No one was injured in the crash.
