Shot Man Flags Down Security Guard

Police: Man Shot Numerous Times Near School

A man who had been shot multiple times, flagged down a Trinity College security guard for help early Tuesday morning, according to police.

Police said the man was shot numerous times on New Britain Avenue. The victim flagged down the guard, who then alerted emergency crews.

The man was transported to Hartford Hospital and underwent surgery, according to police. He remains in stable condition.

Police said that they do not believe the victim was a student at the school. His name and age have yet to be released.
