44-Foot Boat Engulfed In Flames, Fire Officials Say

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. -- The Old Saybrook Fire Department responded to a fire Saturday morning at the Oak Leaf Marina, located at 218 Ferry Road in Old Saybrook, at about 3:50 a.m.Officials said a 44-foot Sea Line boat was engulfed in flames at the end of the dock.More than 20 firefighters responded to the fire with three engines, a rescue vehicle and a fire boat that was on loan to the OSFD from the Island Cove Marina and Sea Tow, officials said.
No injuries were suffered, and the Old Saybrook Fire Marshal's Office said it is investigating the cause.
