    • Crash Closes Main Street In East Hartford

    Police: Utility Pole Snapped

    EAST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Main Street in East Hartford was closed between Ensign Street and Brewer Street on Monday afternoon.

    The roadway was closed due to a crash.

    Police said a vehicle snapped a utility pole.

    Drivers were urged to use Route 2 as an alternate route.
