NORTH HAVEN, Conn. -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in North Haven on Saturday night.Police said the motorcyclist, identified as Michael Lozowski, 40, of Hamden, was killed after his Harley Davidson landed on top of him.The motorcycle struck a mailbox on Maple Avenue before landing in a small stream that police said is about 20 feet off the road.Lozwoski was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.The roadway was closed from Pool Road to Beach Street while police investigated.
