MASHANTUCKET, Conn. -- State police said they had to use a stun gun on a New London man while arresting him for allegedly exposing himself to a 12-year-old girl inside Foxwoods Resort Casino. Shelton Hendricks is due in New London Superior Court on Friday for arraignment on charges of public indecency, risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace and interfering with police. Troopers said the 49-year-old Hendricks exposed himself to the girl at an arcade at the eastern Connecticut casino Thursday night and fled to a nearby parking lot. State police used a stun gun on him, and he was treated for minor injuries at Backus Hospital in Norwich. He was held on $250,000 bond.
Hendricks is listed on the state's sex offender registry. The registry shows that he was convicted of open and gross lewdness in 2001, and risk of injury in 2007.
