HAMDEN, Conn. -- Hamden police said they responded to 655 Fitch St. after a caller reported that two men on bicycles followed him to the location Friday around 1:30 a.m.The caller said the men asked for his belongings.When he refused, he said, one of them drew a gun and fired several shots around him.The caller said he was able to get inside without being injured.The two men fled the scene, the caller said.The caller described the first man as a black male with dark clothing, shorts and a baseball cap. The second man was described as a black male with dreadlocks.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hamden Police Department’s Detective Division at 860-230-4040.
