HARTFORD, Conn. -- A man was fatally shot early Saturday morning in Hartford.

Police said the 29-year-old man was shot at the corner of Affleck and Park streets around 5 a.m.

Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes unit remained at the scene throughout much of the morning.

Witnesses told Eyewitness News that the man had an 11-year-old daughter.
