PLAINFIELD, Conn. -- Police were searching for a man wanted in connection with an early-morning stabbing on Friday.

Officers responded to a home on South Chestnut Street in the Wauregan section of town around 1 a.m. after receiving reports of a home invasion.

Police said a man was found stabbed inside his home.

Police were searching for a Central Village man, identified as Jason Long, 18, in connection with the crime.

A warrant on charges of burglary, assault and criminal attempt to commit larceny was issued for Longs arrest.

The condition of the victim has not been released.
