NORWICH, Conn. -- Police said ads posted on an online marketplace led to the arrests of seven people charged in a prostitution sting.The suspects were arrested at a Norwich hotel on Thursday night, police said.Norwich investigators said they used the Web site Craigslist.org to post ads offering and looking for sex."The more police departments do this, the less you'll see that on there," said Detective Ed Peckham of the Norwich Police Department. "I think it'll have an effect on people calling those girls and people posting on there because they'll never know what they're going to get when they call."Jalisa Thivierge, 19, was charged with prostitution. Sekiyo Frett and Reginald Green were charged with promoting prostitution.Four other men, identified as Anthony Smith, of Groton; Daniel Nemeth, of Uncasville; Sooksavad Simmalovong, of Norwich; and Anthony Cosentino, of Putnam, were charged with patronizing a prostitute.All seven suspects were released on bond and are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 4.
