MARLBOROUGH, Conn. -- A motorcycle crash caused police to close a portion of Route 2 in Marlborough on Wednesday afternoon.Police said the road was closed at about 3:40 p.m. between exits 13 and 16.All lanes of the roadway were closed as a result of the incident, they said.Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance said the motorcycle was found in the woods off the side of the road and that the driver had been thrown off.The estimated time needed to clear the scene, police said, was five to six hours.Refresh this page and watch Eyewitness News for the latest updates to this developing story.
