Fire Ignites In Multifamily Home

No Injuries Reported As Result Of Fire

EAST HADDAM, Conn. -- A fire ignited at a multifamily home in East Haddam on Friday afternoon.

The fire occurred on the Colchester Turnpike just before 12:50 p.m.

Eyewitness News photographer Andy Halpin reported that no one was home at the time of the fire and that no one was injured as a result of the blaze.

Crews were able to save the garage, he said, but the rest of the home was severely damaged.
