Train Service Disrupted On Waterbury Line
Buses To Replace Trains During Construction

WATERBURY, Conn. -- Metro North said bus service will replace all Waterbury branch train service from July 13 through Aug. 14.During the disruption, Metro North said it will install 15,200 tires and resurface 19 miles of track south of Derby Station to Waterbury.The steel truss bridge over the Naugatuck River at Ansonia will also be replaced.Metro North said the project is aimed to sustrain train service reliability.
