Windsor police have issued an arrest warrant for Heather Brown, who is suspected in six bank robberies across New England in six days.

Windsor police called Brown, who is from Norwich, a suspect in a robbery Saturday at the Connecticut Bank and Trust on Broad Street.

An employee reportedly told police the robber looked a lot like Brown – the same woman suspected in the other recent robberies.

The warrant charges Brown with robbery and larceny. A $200,000 bond was set.

Police said Brown is wanted for questioning in connection with the robberies, which began Monday in Montville. The last reported robbery was the one in Windsor.

The series of robberies spans across much of New England, with robberies reported in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

In the first five robberies, police said the woman told tellers she had a bomb and fled with cash. Police said a weapon was implied in the Windsor robbery as well.

Police said Brown is on probation after serving more than two years in prison for a bank robbery in 2006.

Brown's record shows 13 convictions of burglary, drug possession and prostitution.
