Mission Wolf Travels The Country To Promote Awareness

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. -- Mission Wolf was in Southington on Friday to spread their message that wolves are not all vicious wild animals.Mission Wolf is a refuge in Colorado for wolves who have lost their fear of humans and can’t be released into the wild.On Friday, the group brought three of their 35 to Southington for a program at Briarwood College.Kent Weber, from Mission Wolf said, “We’re doing programs in town to teach people why wolves don’t attack you.”Mission Wolf travels the country in a specially designed bus trying to tell people not to fear them, but at the same time, not to keep them as pets.The programs run at Briarwood at 5:30 p.m and 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
