Mission Wolf was in Southington on Friday to spread their message that wolves are not all vicious wild animals.

Mission Wolf is a refuge in Colorado for wolves who have lost their fear of humans and can’t be released into the wild.

On Friday, the group brought three of their 35 to Southington for a program at Briarwood College.

Kent Weber, from Mission Wolf said, “We’re doing programs in town to teach people why wolves don’t attack you.”

Mission Wolf travels the country in a specially designed bus trying to tell people not to fear them, but at the same time, not to keep them as pets.

The programs run at Briarwood at 5:30 p.m and 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
