Police Say No Weapon Shown During Robbery

ENFIELD, Conn. -- Police in Enfield said that a bank in their town was robbed on Thursday afternoon.Police said that the Webster Bank on Hazard Avenue in Enfield was robbed by a man who did not show a weapon.Police said the suspect was a white male in his early 20s and had a thin to medium build. He was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and wore sunglasses and a scarf to cover his face.After the robbery, the man fled the scene in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of money.Police are investigating.Anyone with information is asked to call the Enfield Police Department by dialing 860-763-8912.
