EAST HARTFORD, Conn. -- A man from East Hartford is turning to the Web site Craigslist to help catch the hit-and-run driver who totaled his car.Last week, Jeff Brey’s Camaro was rear-ended by a hit-and-run driver on Route 68 in Wallingford near Barnes Road.Brey’s car was totaled and he received neck and hand injuries. He said the driver who caused the crash fled the area.Brey is now offering a cash reward online.“Now with the times people might need money and have seen something or saw a car and I’m giving a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the car or driver,” Brey said.Brey said he believes an SUV or truck with some sort of barrier attached to the front hit him.Anyone with information regarding the crash should contact the Wallingford Police Department.
