NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- New Haven police officers were sent to the hospital after a fight exposed them to blood.On Tuesday, police were called to a home on Shelton Avenue on an unwanted person complaint. Police received reports that Lapriest Agnew was high on drugs.As officers approached Agnew, he fled on foot from police to Bassett Street.Police said the officers became engaged in a fight with Agnew, and police stunned him twice with a Taser.Four police officers were exposed to Agnew's blood and received treatment at the hospital.Agnew was charged with breach of peace, interfering with police and failure to appear.
