FARMINGTON, Conn. -- A pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in Farmington has been identified.Police said Edward Gorecki, 55, died after being airlifted to Hartford Hospital on Wednesday morning.Gorecki was struck by a Ford Expedition on Brickyard Road just before 8 a.m.The road remained closed for several hours after the incident.The driver of the Expedition was identified as Paula Bauer, 41, of Farmington.Police said Thursday that the crash remains under investigation.
