GUILFORD, Conn. -- One person was killed in a crash in Guilford on Saturday.

Police said one car was traveling southbound on Durham Road when it crashed.

The passenger of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, identified as Brian Peeler, was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital.

Peeler’s condition remains unknown. The passenger’s identity has not been released.
