Two Teens Died After Police Cruiser Crashed Into Car

MILFORD, Conn. -- Video of a deadly cruiser crash in Orange was released to the pubic on Tuesday. Two teenagers died in the crash and the police officer who crashed into them is facing manslaughter charges.Video was rolling from an in-car camera in Officer Richard Pisani's Milford police car. His car was headed down the Post Road in Orange.He and officer Jason Anderson were on their way back from assisting West Haven police with a brawl at a nightclub.Pisani was driving at 70 miles per hour.In the video, you can see another police car, driven by Anderson speed past Pisani's cruiser.Investigators estimate that Anderson was traveling at 94 miles per hour.A few seconds later, a car turns in front of Anderson and then the crash occurred.Two teenagers, 19-year-old Ashlie Krakowski and 19-year-old David Servin were in the car that Anderson hit. Both of them were killed.Anderson was charged with two counts of manslaughter and reckless driving.Milford's police chief said that Anderson had been driving at least 94 miles per hour with no light or sirens on, and was not responding to an emergency call.Investigators have not released whether the teens had been drinking.Anderson's attorney said that could become a factor in the case when it finally goes to trial.
